The Miami Dolphins have a Week 9 contest with the Indianapolis Colts, and both teams are trying to make the most out of seasons with a rookie quarterback. Andrew Luck is certainly more heralded than Ryan Tannehill, but both teams are 4-3.
Tannehill may not be under center for Miami on Sunday, after he was knocked out of the game on a sack by the New York Jets last week. Limited in practice all week, he's listed as questionable for the game. If he's unavailable, the team will turn to Matt Moore, who went 11 for 19 for 131 yards in Week 8's win over the Jets. The Dolphins have been depending more and more on the quarterback, as Reggie Bush and Miami's rushing attack have slowly faded. After averaging 152.5 yards per game in September, the team ran for only 67 yards per game in October.
The Colts have lived or died by Luck's performance. He has a average quarterback rating of 59.9 in the team's three losses and 88.2 in their four wins. All together he's averaging 282 yards per game and has an even eight touchdowns and eight interceptions. He'll have to make things work on Sunday without Coby Fleener, a favorite target averaging 10.6 yards per catch.
