With the Miami Dolphins chasing a spot in the playoffs and hanging around the AFC East division race, they'll welcome the New England Patriots to town for a key late-season divisional showdown on Sunday afternoon.
Quarterback Tom Brady and the Patriots (8-3) are three games up on the Dolphins (5-6) with just four games remaining on the season after Week 13 action concludes. A Dolphins' victory would mean much to Miami's remaining hopes of making a run at a playoff spot.
The Patriots are fresh off a long rest after a dominating victory over the New York Jets on Thanksgiving night while the Dolphins bested Seattle last weekend, 24-21, on the strength of touchdowns from quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Reggie Bush.
The divisional rivals have yet to meet in 2012, but will play again just a few weeks from now in the teams' season finales in Foxboro in Week 17.
Date and Time: Dec. 2, 1 p.m. ET
Location: Sun Life Stadium, Miami, Fla.
TV: CBS
Odds: The Patriots are favored by nine points on the road
