Dolphins Injuries: Koa Misi Placed On Injured Reserve

Miami also signs quarterback Pat Devlin off the practice squad.

The Miami Dolphins have placed linebacker Koa Misi on injured reserve, ending his 2011 season, according to the team's official Twitter account.

Misi played in 12 games for the Dolphins this season but injured his shoulder during the team's Dec. 11 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. He finishes 2011 with 34 tackles including 26 solo tackles to go with a sack.

The team also announced it has signed quarterback Pat Devlin off the practice squad. The 23-year old Downingtown, Pa. native went undrafted this past spring.

He began his college football career at Penn State where he threw for 459 yards, four touchdowns against no interceptions in backing up Daryll Clark in 2008. He then transferred to Delaware, where he threw for 5,696 yards and 38 touchdowns against 12 interceptions between 2009-2010 with the Blue Hens.
