Miami is celebrating its best performance of the season as they head to the fourth quarter against an overmatched Oakland team.
The Dolphins extended their lead to 20-0 on an easy Reggie Bush scamper into the end zone. The play was set up by a pass interference call on Stanford Rout, who wrapped his arm around the torso of Charles Clay and to break up a pass in the end zone. Bush walked in one play later, as it appeared the Raiders nearly conceded the touchdown after the penalty. It was a quick scoring drive, set up by a huge kickoff return by Clyde Gates, who brought 77 yards to the Oakland 25 yard line.
Matt Moore would make it 27-0 on a quarterback draw up the middle, scoring from six yards out. The Fins would add to the beating just nine seconds later, when Carson Palmer threw his ninth pick of the season. Kevin Burnett followed his blockers 34 yards for the defensive score. It's a laugher at Sun Life Stadium as the Dolphins head to the fourth quarter with the comfortable 34 point lead.
