The Miami Dolphins bounced back from their last second loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving with a dominating 34-14 win over the Oakland Raiders. A big third quarter effectively iced the game away for the Dolphins, as Carson Palmer and a banged up Raiders team traveled across the country and were never in it.
Reggie Bush had a big day for the Dolphins, as he rushed 22 times for 100 yards and one easy touchdown. Matt Moore completed 13 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown, but Kevin Burnett's interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter was the highlight that extended the Dolphins lead to 34-0.
Palmer would throw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, inflating his numbers a bit but this game was never close. With a long week off and almost a fully healthy roster, the Dolphins came out ready to play and snapped the Raiders' three game winning streak.
