Dolphins Vs. Jets Score Update: Jets Lead 7-3 After First Quarter

The Miami Dolphins are hosting the New York Jets in the final game of the NFL regular season. The Jets are hoping for a win to have a chance at reaching the postseason with an AFC Wild Card berth. The Dolphins, for their part, are hoping to play spoiler, but will be attempting to do so without the aid of their leading rusher, Reggie Bush, who is inactive for the game due to a minor knee injury.

The Dolphins got on the board first against the Jets with a 44-yard field goal by Dan Carpenter midway through the first quarter. Their lead was short-lived, however, as the Jets began a long drive. Mark Sanchez led New York as they traveled 77 yards on eight plays, capped off by a short touchdown pass from Sanchez to Dustin Keller for the 7-3 lead.

Antonio Cromartie nabbed an interception with just 0:38 left in the first quarter for the Jets offense to take over once again.
