The Miami Dolphins are right in the thick of a heated coaching search, and their prized target just happens to be the focus of the search of other teams as well. According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Fisher could be trimming his list of potential suitors today, which means he is very close to making a decision.
I am reporting that, according to one source that thus far has been spot on, the coach is finalizing his choice of teams today. Following that decision, I am supposing here, Fisher will tell his agent which direction he's going and negotiations will get going on a contract and various other details. I do not know what Fisher's decision will be. But it's obvious that whatever he decides will define the direction of both the Dolphins and Rams for years to come.
Jeff Fisher took his last visit to the Rams, and there is always a good chance that you take the job at the last place you visited. But the Dolphins can still hold out hope that Fisher prefers the good weather of Miami.
