Dolphins Free Agency 2012: Will Miami Consider Matt Flynn?

The Miami Dolphins got some good play out of Matt Moore at the quarterback position, but he hardly brings back memories of Dan Marino under center. As a result they will likely be in the market for a new quarterback this season, and Nate Davis of USA Today has a suggestion for who they might be looking at.

It seems logical to take a long look at QB Matt Flynn given new HC Joe Philbin's relationship with him from their time together in Green Bay. A new QB would immediately enjoy solid support with RB Reggie Bush, LT Jake Long, C Mike Pouncey and WR Brandon Marshall on hand.

Flynn would certainly make a lot of sense with Philbin already on the staff, and you have to wonder if that was the team's intention in brining him on board.
