The Peyton Maning saga has apparently come to a close, in Miami at least. We don't know where he will sign as a free agent, but it is becoming clear that it will not be in Miami. Manning has allegedly informed the club that he will not be signing with him.
Peyton Manning personally contacted Dolphins on Thursday to advise them he wouldn't be signing with Miami, multiple sources have told me.

The Dolphins seemed like a natural fit for Manning's services from Day 1 considering he already has residence there and it is in the AFC. But maybe he just doesn't want to go up against Tom Brady for a playoff spot.
Now the Dolphins can turn their attention to other quarterback options. Matt Flynn seems like a good fit, but the Dolphins could also just turn their attention towards drafting a QB in the upcoming NFL Draft.
