Wake finished the 2011 season with 8.5 sacks. Though it was off his career high of 14 sacks in 2010, Wake has established himself as one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
Wake is most likely looking for a more lucrative contract entering this season. He has recorded 28.5 sacks in three seasons with the Dolphins after being undrafted out of Penn State.
