The Miami Dolphins have selected wide receiver B.J. Cunnigham from Michigan State with the 13th pick in the sixth round, the 183rd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Dolphins would appear to have a steal in Cunningham, a highly regarded prospect that some saw being taken as early as the third round.
The Spartans wideout is thought of as a good route runner and durable wideout. Cunningham is said to be savvy at the line of scrimmage, using his hands and physical frame to keep cornerbacks off balance as the play develops. The 6-foot-1, 211 pound wide receiver also blocks well downfield in the running game.
