NFL Draft Results 2012: Dolphins Select Texas DT Kheeston Randall In Round 7

The Miami Dolphins selected Texas defensive tackle Kheeston Randall with the 8th pick in Round 7, and No. 215 overall. The new offensive regime and Jeff Ireland took two offensive skill positions in Lamar Miller and B.J. Cunningham on day 3, and have now added the second defensive player to add to the front seven. Randall joins Josh Kaddu as a late-round defensive selection. He's a solid interior lineman, who will be used primarily as a run-stopper and often came off the field for the Longhorns on passing downs.

The Fins have one more selection later in the 7th Round, at No. 20 and No. 227 overall.
