NFL Draft Results 2012: Dolphins Select Risard Matthews With Last Pick

With their final selection of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins selected Nevada wide receiver Rishard Matthews out of Nevada. Matthews is a six foot receiver who has a chance to work his way into the rotation, and become a potential target for new quarterback Ryan Tannehill down the line. He's a big receiver, who does well in traffic and is strong enough to out-duel NFL cornerbacks in battles for the ball. He's not considered a burner by any means, and struggles to burst off the line and get vertical.

The Dolphins wrap up their draft with three offensive skill positions drafted on the third and final day. After taking Hurricane running back Lamar Miller to start the day, the Fins added Matthews and B.J. Cunningham to add to the pass-catching corps.
