After a one-year hiatus because of the NFL ;ockout in 2011, HBO's popular Hard Knocks series returns in 2012 and will feature the Miami Dolphins. This was confirmed in a press conference by new head coach Joe Philbin.
"We're excited that NFL films has chosen the Miami Dolphins to be on Hard Knocks," Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said.

This should make for some interesting television during training camp, because with Philbin and first-round draft pick Ryan Tannehill, there is much room for growth on this team and a lot of unknown factors.
Teams that have been featured on Hard Knocks before include the Baltimore Ravens in 2001, the Dallas Cowboys in both 2002 and 2008, the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007, the Cincinnati Bengals in 2009 and the New York Jets in 2010.
