The Miami Dolphins wrapped up another day of practice on Monday in front of more than 700 fans and clusters of Hard Knocks camera crews. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill was not working with the starters, as expected, for the second day in a row. The Dolphins were also without wide receiver Brian Hartline.
After a strong first practice on Sunday, Tannehill struggled a bit more on Monday. Head coach Joe Philbin did not seem overly concerned. He described Tannehill's day to the Palm Beach Post:
"I thought he threw the ball very well on Sunday," Philbin said. "Today, we missed a couple plays early. We had a couple opportunities for big plays we didn't convert on. For a rookie quarterback, I think he's doing very well."
Brian Hartline is still out with a calf injury. With the starting receiver on the sidelines, Davone Bess, Chad Johnson and Legedu Naanee were taking reps with the first team.
