As the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders prepare to meet on the field this Sunday, Miami had three players with limited participation in practice on Thursday and two who were unable to take the field at all.
According to the Dolphins official team injury report, third year wide receiver Anthony Armstrong is nursing a hamstring injury and was limited in practice. Rookie linebacker Jonathan Freeny has an injured thumb, and nine-year veteran defensive end Randy Starks currently has a groin injury.
Unable to participate in Thursday's practice was seven-year veteran at defensive tackle Tony McDaniel, and second-year running back Daniel Thomas.
Miami will be looking to be at full strength as they take the field on Sunday at Sun Life Stadium to try and earn their first victory of the season by defeating Oakland. The Dolphins were winless in the preseason and the team hasn't won a game in the NFL since defeating the New York Jets back on New Year's Day.
