A field positioning battle opened up in the second half as the Miami Dolphins were able to outgun the Oakland Raiders and secure their first victory of the season, much to the pleasure of The Phinsider. Over at the blog, the guys focused on the performance of running back Reggie Bush, who performed well against the Raider defensive attack:
The star of the game was clearly running back Reggie Bush, who carried the ball 26 times for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Bush also caught three balls for 25 yards.
The connection between rookie quarterback and wideout Brian Hartline was also of note to The Phinsider, as the combination worked well together:
Nine of Tannehill's completions went to wide receiver Brian Hartline, who added a career high 111 yards along with his career high in receptions.
In the comments section and in the post, Tannehill and the offensive line also received high praise for their work.
