Receivers Chris Hogan, Jeff Fuller Lead Eight Named To Dolphins Practice Squad

Despite his status as an unexpected star of this summer's Hard Knocks, the Miami Dolphins released receiver Chris Hogan as training camp wound down and the season loomed near. Now, just a few days later, the receiver everyone called "7-11" is back with the team, leading eight players named to the team's practice squad, according to The Palm Beach Post's Ben Volin.

The entire squad is as follows:

  • Offensive tackle Chandler Burden
  • Offensive tackle Andrew McDonald
  • Linebacker Jonathan Freeny
  • Linebacker Josh Kaddu
  • Receiver Jeff Fuller
  • Receiver Chris Hogan
  • Cornerback DeAndre Presley
  • Safety Anderson Russell

Among the lesser known names on the list is the former Oregon Ducks linebacker, Kaddu, and Fuller, who, like Hogan, just missed the cut in a tightly contested positional battle during training camp.

Presley, a rookie out of FCS Appalachian State, originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Diego Chargers and spent much of training camp with the team.
