Dolphins Still Figuring Out 'Leadership Council'

If you've been keeping up with HBO's Hard Knocks series on the Miami Dolphins, you may remember the episode where Reggie Bush, Karlos Dansby and Jake Long sat down with head coach Joe Philbin and discussed forming a 'leadership council' where players on the team could voice their opinions to the coaching staff through a select group of appointed individuals.

It sounded like a good plan but according to Kevin Nogle, blogger for The Phinsider, the council has yet to be established:

"We're still kind of formulating that," Philbin responded when asked if the leadership council would continue into the regular season. "If we decide to go with that, we'll probably start it up like next week, in another week or so, but haven't finalized anything in that yet."

Philbin was then asked if the council was likely to happen. "Yeah, I'm giving it consideration. I'm giving it serious consideration."
