Miami Heat guard Rashard Lewis is still figuring out how he fits into the team's lineup. Lewis missed a significant portion of the last two seasons because of injuries. Now he is trying to prove that he is not only healthy but also ready to contribute to a championship contender.

Lewis doesn't want to take any days off for fear of losing some of the progress he has made. "I feel like I'm getting there. I'm trying to get my legs up under me. I feel like any days off can set me back a little bit. We have two weeks left," Lewis said Wednesday.
The 14-year NBA veteran appeared in 28 games for the Washington Wizards last season and averaged 7.8 points per game, which was his lowest mark since his rookie season. For his career, Lewis is averaging 16.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
