The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics open up the 2012-13 NBA season against each other. LeBron James will receive his first Championship ring before the game, while his rivals look on.
To add, former Celtic Ray Allen is teamed up with James after signing with the Heat in the offseason. Emotions are expected run high, as Boston starts another run in hopes of capturing what it was able to in the first year of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Allen being there together. For the Heat, it's the start of a season where they look to pick up where they left off the year before.
Still, both teams are trying to keep this game in perspective. Win or lose, there will be 81 games left and unless something drastic happens between now and playoff time, both of these teams are expected to be there.
