The Miami Heat took a four-game winning streak into Sunday's contest against the Memphis Grizzles, but failed to extend that streak to five games, as the Heat fell to the Grizzles, 104-86.
Miami entered the weekend with a 4-1 record, and moved to 5-1 on Friday night, with a 95-89 win over the Atlanta Hawks. Chris Bosh led the Heat with 24 points, while LeBron James led Miami with 11 boards in the win.
Unfortunately for Heat fans, Miami ran into a hot Grizzles team on Sunday. Wayne Ellington led all scorers with 25 points, while Zach Randolph paced the game with 12 rebounds.
Despite the uneven weekend, Miami still holds a two game lead in the Southeast division. Miami is up two games over the Charlotte Bobcats (2-3) and Atlanta Hawks (2-3), and hold a two and a half game edge over the Orlando Magic (2-4). The Washington Wizards remain the only winless team in the division at 0-5, four games behind Miami.
