Nuggets vs. Heat 2012 score update: Denver leads Miami, 66-64

It's been a battle of big men in Miami, as the Nuggets lead the Heat, 66-64, at halftime on Saturday night. Chris Bosh leads all scorers with 20 first-half points on 8-of-13 shooting, but Denver's Kenneth Faried has been equal to the task down low, notching 16 points.

It's been a back-and-forth game, with the Nuggets and Heat trading the lead 12 times in the first half. Miami finished the first quarter on top by a slim margin, 35-34, only to have Denver turn the tables with a 32-29 second quarter. Both teams are shooting the ball well, hitting over 50 percent from the floor. Miami has also found its stroke from downtown, nailing six three-pointers, with two each from Shane Battier and Ray Allen.

It's been a quiet night for Miami's superstars, however, as Dwyane Wade and LeBron James each have just eight points. James has seven assists, and Wade added two blocks. Allen is 3-of-4 from the floor in his third game with the Heat. On Denver's side, Faried leads the way with 16 points and seven boards, and JaVale McGee has added 12 points and six rebounds off the bench. Andre Igoudala chipped in 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
