NBA schedule 2012: Heat host 2 tough opponents this week

The Miami Heat have a couple of tough matchups this week, as they'll play host to the Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors.

The Miami Heat have a big game on Monday night, when they host the Atlanta Hawks with first place in the Southeast Division on the line. The Heat currently have a half-game lead over the Hawks, and will be trying to beat them for the second time this season.

Miami doesn't get a breather, though, as they have to host the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. The Warriors are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, and are right on the heels of the Clippers for first place in the Pacific Division.

The Orlando Magic, meanwhile, have a fairly slow week. Their only game is on Wednesday night, when they host the Hawks. The Magic have lost two in a row, and will try to avoid going into a prolonged skid against a tough opponent.

Elsewhere in the NBA this week, the Knicks and Nets will renew acquaintances in Brooklyn on Thursday night.
