Both the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic lost home contests on Wednesday night. The Heat fell 97-95 to the Golden State Warriors thanks to Draymond Green's go-ahead layup with less than a second remaining. Miami was held scoreless over the final 3:18 of the game and Golden State finished on a 6-0 run.
Orlando lost 86-80 to the Atlanta Hawks. The Magic got 16 points from Arron Afflalo but shot just 38.3 percent as a team, including a 7-22 effort from beyond the three point line. Atlanta took an 12-point lead into halftime, and while the Magic were able to limit the Hawks to 14 points in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to allow them to rally for the victory.
The Heat (14-5) return to action on Saturday against the Washington Wizards. Miami leads the Southeast division by a half game over Atlanta. Orlando (8-13) returns to the floor on Friday night for a game against the Warriors.
