Wizards vs. Heat preview: Miami looking avenge loss to Washington

The Heat fell to the Wizards earlier this month for probably their most embarrassing loss of the season, and will try to even the score on Saturday night at home.

USA TODAY Sports

The last time the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat got together, the Wizards handed the Heat their most embarrassing loss of the season. Miami will try to settle the score on Saturday night when the host Washington.

The Heat (14-6) are coming off a tough 97-95 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, and have lost three of their past five games. A home game against the lowly Wizards (3-17) should provide a good opportunity to get back on the right track. LeBron James should be good to go after being on the receiving end of a flagrant foul on Wednesday.

The Wizards have lost four of their past five games since upsetting the Heat on Dec. 4, but none of those losses have been by more than nine points. Injured point guard John Wall will miss the game for Washington, but is getting closer to a return.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET from AmericanAirlines Arena, and the game can be seen on Fox Sports Florida.
