The Miami Heat and Orlando Magic will both be hosting the Utah Jazz over the weekend, with the Heat facing the Jazz on Saturday and the Magic following suit on Sunday. The Magic also take on the Toronto Raptors Friday night.
Miami moved to 17-6 on the season after a 110-95 drubbing of the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. The Heat shot 53.8 percent in the victory, with LeBron James' 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists leading the way.
Utah sits at 14-13 and has lost three of its last four games. In their last outing on Wednesday, the Jazz fell 104-84 on the road against the Indiana Pacers. Utah scored a season-low eight points in the second quarter of the loss. Al Jefferson leads the Jazz in scoring (16.8 points per game) and rebounding (10.2 rebounds per game).
Before facing the Jazz on Sunday, the red-hot Magic head up to Canada to visit the surging Raptors on Friday. Both teams have won four consecutive games, and Toronto has done so despite Andrea Bargnani and Kyle Lowry sitting out with injuries. Glen Davis will miss the game for Orlando.
Around the Southeast Division, the Atlanta Hawks visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday before hosting the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. The Charlotte Bobcats head west to face the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets. The Washington Wizards have a home-and-home against the Detroit Pistons.
