The Miami Heat take their five-game winning streak into North Carolina on Wednesday night as they play the slumping Charlotte Bobcats, who have lost 15 straight overall. Tip off for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena and the game is scheduled to be broadcast on Sun Sports. Radio coverage of the game will be provided by 710 AM, 790 AM and 104.3 FM.
This is the first of four games between the two Southeast Division teams this season. The two teams will play against each other next on Feb. 4 in Miami. Currently the Heat have a 19-6 record and lead the Southeast while the Bobcats are 7-20 and are 13 games behind the Heat.
The Heat won all last three games last season against the Bobcats and have not lost to them since March 9, 2010. Teams have focused on the Bobcats' interior on defense, the Denver Nuggets scored 78 points in the paint on Saturday, while the Bobcats have allowed 109.4 points per game during their losing streak.
