It doesn't look like the Miami Heat will make any moves before Thursday's trade deadline. At least LeBron James doesn't think they will do anything. In fact, he says they're not even involved in any trade talks.
"We're comfortable with what we have. We're confident with what we have. We're not a part of the talk of the trades going on before the deadline. This is what we got and we're excited about it.'
At last check, James isn't the Heat's general manager so he may not be totally clued in and Miami might make a move. But you can bet that the front office keeps James involved so it is unlikely that the superstar is just making things up. The Heat will probably be quiet on Thursday and for good reason -- they don't have any major needs.
The defending NBA champions have their squad, and a pretty good one at that. Even when they were "struggling" at the beginning of the season they were atop the Eastern Conference standings. A team that can slump its way to first place probably doesn't need much tinkering.
