According to NBA.COM:
Dwayne Wade and Gerald Henderson could prove to be the matchup to watch Wednesday. The Bobcats have struggled guarding Wade on the perimeter. Wade scored 27 points in the team’s final meeting last season and made 16 trips to the free throw line.
Charlotte point guard D.J. Augustin will be in the starting lineup Wednesday night. Augustin sprained his left ankle in the win over Milwaukee Monday night. Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said he was happy to have two young point guards in his arsenal. "We feel as comfortable as anybody in the league," Spoelstra said. "We have two young point guards that bring different skills sets. We like (Mario) Chalmers for the things that he brings defensively. He plays well off the ball and he’s matured and come along way. With Norris (Cole), the pace changes. He ignites the break and knows how to play fast and gets peopled involved. We haven’t that in this organization in a long time."
Both Miami and Charlotte are both dealing with pre-season injuries. The Bobcats will be without Edjuardo Najera (torn cartilage, left knee), Reggie Williams (torn meniscus, left knee) and Tyrus Thomas (left ankle sprain). Thomas has still not practiced since injuring his ankle in the preseason and there is no time table established for his return. Miami will be without Eddy Curry (hip flexor) and Mike Miller (hernia surgery).
