Video: LeBron James Dunk Gets Rejected By Gerald Henderson's Head

It's not uncommon for NBA players to screw up on dunks. These guys are professionals and nail their dunks 99% of the time, but every year, there are highlights of players getting too confident and bouncing an easy slam off the rim. But during last night's game between the Miami Heat and Charlotte Bobcats, fans got to witness something even more rare: a dunk getting rejected by an opposing player's head.

LeBron James didn't miss his dunk -- he sunk it right in, with the entire ball clearing the hoop. And then, Gerald Henderson's head decided to get in the way and bounce the ball right back out again. Since it all happened so far, the officials didn't catch what happened and didn't award LeBron or the Heat with two points.

Thankfully the Heat won anyway, pulling out a 96-95 victory on a last-minute shot from Dewayne Wade. If they had ended up losing by one, though, I can imagine the "GAH, INSTANT REPLAY!!" talk would have been out in full force.
