Dwyane Wade Injury: Heat Star Rolls Ankle In Loss To Nuggets, Questionable For Tuesday's Game Vs. Spurs

The Miami Heat (8-4) lost their third straight game Friday night, falling to the Denver Nuggets 117-104, and to make matters worse Heat star Dwyane Wade suffered an ugly looking ankle injury midway through the fourth quarter, forcing him to miss the remainder of the contest.

While attempting to make a play on Denver's Al Harrington, Wade awkwardly landed on the Nuggets forward's foot, causing Wade's right ankle to roll in a rather unpleasant fashion. The Heat star stayed down for a few minutes before cautiously making his way to the bench.

Wade did not return to the game, and he is questionable for Miami's next contest, a home game Tuesday night against the San Antonio Spurs. The Heat guard was already bothered by a left foot injury and a strained calf that has caused him to miss time over the last two weeks.

Wade finished the game with 12 points (on six of 14 shooting), seven rebounds and six assists.
