Miami Heat guard LeBron James confirmed that he sustained a dislocated finger in the team's 105-90 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday. The Heat star also claimed that the injury will not cause him to miss any time.
The x-rays on James' hand came back negative and he does plan to play against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. James sustained the injury to his non-shooting hand in the first quarter against the Pacers. He was able to play through the game with the finger taped up, but he will be wearing a splint on Thursday.
James has only missed one game the entire season. Back in January he sat out a game with a sprained left ankle and he has been complaining about discomfort in his right elbow this week according to Fox Sports Florida.
