The Miami Heat made an emphatic statement on Thursday with a 106-85 victory over the defending champion Dallas Mavericks. Miami now travels up north to Toronto to play the Raptors, and hope that they can get a good victory on the road.

The Heat have lost six of their last eight games on the road averaging only 91.3 points per game during that span. In addition they have averaged 17.8 turnovers per game in the last four games on the road.

LeBron James had 19 points and shot 8-of-16 from the field despite suffering from a dislocated finger in his non-shooting hand as well as discomfort in his right elbow. Even with that, five other Miami players scored in double figures to help them win against Dallas.

The Heat won the last game against the Raptors on Feb. 5 95-89 behind 30 points from James.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Sunshine Sports.
