Bobcats Vs. Heat Recap: Miami Cruises To 23-Point Win Over Lowly Charlotte

As expected, the Miami Heat rebounded nicely from their overtime loss in Chicago on Thursday with a comfortable win over the NBA's worst team, the Charlotte Bobcats. Erik Spoelstra held out Dwyane Wade, while both Chris Bosh and LeBron James played 30 minutes or less. The Heat jumped in front by 19 at halftime, before putting it in cruise control over the final 24 minutes. They finished the game with a 105-82 win.

Even in limited minutes, James led all Heat scorers with 19 points while also grabbing nine boards. But this game also provided plenty of opportunities for the role players, and Dexter Pittman took advantage. The big Texan was 7 of 11 from the floor and added 16 points off the bench. Joel Anthony also added 10 points on the inside -- a rare double-figure performance. As a team, the Heat shot better than 50 percent which was more than enough against the woeful Bobcats.

The level of competition will increase a bit this weekend, however, as the Heat head back out on the road on Sunday afternoon for a showdown at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks.
