Heat Vs. Nets Score Update: Playing Without Dwyane Wade, Miami Trails By 3 At Half

After one half at the Prudential Center in Newark, the Miami Heat trail the New Jersey Nets, 55-52. Miami shot the lights out but unfortunately defensive stops on the other end were few and far between, as the Nets shot better than 50 percent from the field. LeBron James hit a three-pointer to close the half for the Heat, and leads all Miami scorers with 14 points. Dwyane Wade is once again sitting out, resting a gimpy ankle and not wanting to risk it against the lowly Nets in the final stretch of the season. Chris Bosh added 10 points for Miami, who shot 60 percent from the floor in the first 24 minuetes.

But Jersey countered with Kris Humphries, who had an outrageously productive first half, scoring a game-high 17 points on just nine attempts from the floor. Rookie MarShon Brooks added 13 points to keep a surprisingly game Nets squad in front. Miami will look to get some stops on the defensive end coming out of the locker room, looking to go on a run and take control of a game they should certainly win.
