The 2012 NBA Playoffs are set to begin this weekend. The Miami Heat fell only a couple games short of the top seed in the Eastern Conference as they will match up with the No. 7 seed New York Knicks beginning on Saturday. The Heat has rested many of their players including LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade down the stretch of the regular season, so they should be well rested and ready to go for the first game.
The Miami Heat swept all three games against the New York Knicks in the regular season. However the Knicks have won the last three playoff series against Miami.
