The Miami Heat answered more than a few questions when they finished off the Indiana Pacers to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals without forward Chris Bosh. A series against the Boston Celtics could prove a little tougher without the third part of the Heat's star trio, but they may have him back soon enough.
Bosh went through a workout on Sunday afternoon with the team, a significant step in his recovery from an abdominal strain. However, Bosh is not far enough along to be ready for Game 1 of the series on Monday night. The Heat are not planning to have him available either.
According to a report from ESPN, head coach Erik Spoelstra is staying focused on one game at a time, meaning the series opener without Bosh:
"I'm not even preparing for that right now," Spoelstra said earlier Sunday when asked about Bosh's status for the series. "I'm preparing for who we have in the gym. So our focus is (Monday). And that's all I can concentrate on. We have enough to win (Monday). That's all that any of our guys should be focused on."
