Chris Bosh Injury Update: Heat Forward Felt Like Playing 10 Days Ago

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh is now considered day-to-day and close to returning to action for the team after suffering an abdominal muscle strain against the Pacers. Bosh is possible for Game 5 on Tuesday. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra revealed on Monday that Bosh said he was feeling well enough to play 10 days ago.

Spoelstra and his players would certainly like to have Bosh in the lineup for Game 5 with the series now tied 2-2 after back-to-back Boston wins. With an injury like Bosh's, his return is a matter of comfort level and conditioning, which led the Heat boss to caution the media to take his player's diagnosis with a dose of skepticism.

Bosh workout three times while the team was in Boston, and has been closely monitored by the coach and training staff. Barring a setback, Miami hopes to have him playing on Tuesday.
