Chris Bosh Injury: Forward Could Play, But Won't Start For Miami In Game 5

Though he's a game-time decision and could very well play for the Miami Heat in Game 5 tonight against the Boston Celtics, forward Chris Bosh won't be in the starting lineup, according to head coach Erik Spoelstra.

Spoelstra told reporters that Bosh will go through a normal pre-game workout routine before a decision is made. Either way, he won't start.

If Bosh does play, Spoelstra said, it would be in "short bursts" and that he would play a "small role."

The 6-foot-11 forward suffered a lower abdominal strain during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifials against the Indiana Pacers and has been sidelined for the nine games since. He has been rehabbing in the meanwhile.
