2012 NBA Playoffs, Heat Vs. Celtics Game 7 Score Update: Miami Trails 27-23 After First Quarter

Following one quarter at the American Airlines Arena, the Miami Heat trails the vising Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, 27-23. LeBron James, who finished with 45 points and 15 rebounds in a historic Game 6 performance, has already grabbed eight points on 1-of-3 shooting. Most of his points have come by way of the free-throw line, where he has gone 6-for-6. Collectively, Miami has shot rather well -- 44 percent from the field -- but has hoisted just 16 attempts, compared to 21 from Boston.

The Celtics have been led early by guard Ray Allen, who has eight points on 100 percent from 3-point range. Kevin Garnett has also added six points.
