NBA Free Agency 2012: Rashard Lewis Meets With Miami Heat; Marcus Camby Still On The Radar

The Miami Heat continue their pursuit of several free agent to round out the 2012 NBA champs. Rashard Lewis was in town for a visit on Sunday night. Lewis' agent, Tony Dutt, told the Miami Herald that the meeting "went well."

Miami could have some competition for Lewis. He has plans to meet with Atlanta and possibly the New York Knicks. The Hawks could potentially offer more money than the Heat. Lewis is getting a nice $13 million buyout next season, which is reportedly making the Heat think they can get him for a cut rate price.

The Heat are also said to be active still in the pursuit of Marcus Camby from the Rockets. Several other teams are in the mix there, and it would likely require a sign-and-trade deal. Miami is also interested in free agents Courtney Lee and John Lucas III.
