Miami vs. FGCU 2012 game time, TV schedule and more

Hurricanes, Reggie Johnson will try for another win.

The Miami Hurricanes will try to improve to 2-0 when they travel to play the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles on Tuesday night.

Miami is 1-0 after knocking off the Stetson Hatters, 87-79, in the season opener Friday night. Reggie Johnson was a big factor in the win, scoring 22 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Seven of those rebounds were on the offensive side of the court. Kenny Kadji chipped in a double-double, scoring 12 points and hauling in 12 rebounds.

The Eagles are 0-1 after a 80-57 loss to the Virginia Commonwealth Rams on Friday night. The Eagles scored 37 second-half points but it wasn't enough to make up for its 20 points in the first half. Bernard Thompson was Florida Gulf Coast's leading scorer in the opener, putting up 21 points in 28 minutes. He also had eight rebounds. Sherwood Brown also had a good game with 16 points and four rebounds.

Tuesday's game tips off at 7:05 p.m. ET but it will not be televised.
