The Boston College Eagles made the trip all the way down to Miami to take on the Hurricanes, but it wasn't a pleasant trip to the southern part of Florida as the Hurricanes beat down the Eagles 77-56 on Saturday afternoon. The Hurricanes jumped out to an early lead and it was just about over from there, as Miami led 46-25 at halftime. After the half, the Hurricanes just put it in cruise control and coasted to a win.
Kenny Kadji and Durand Scott ended the day leading the Hurricanes in scoring with 14 points each, with Scott also picking up six rebounds. Malcom Grant finished up with 12 points while Reggie Johnson nearly picked up a double-double with 10 points and seven rebounds.
