The 2012 Miami Hurricanes basketball schedule has been released, and for the first time in school history they will play 18 ACC games instead of the usual 16. SB Nation's Hurricanes blog The 7th Floor has taken a look at the schedule, outlining some of what to expect in Miami's biggest games.
On the Feb. 2 game against ACC heavyweights North Carolina State, The 7th Floor sees a threatening Wolfpack:
Miami only gets 1 shot at the supposed king of the ACC this season. Do everything foward C.J. Leslie (14.7 ppg, 7.4 rpg) returned for his 3rd year in Raleigh and he will have 3rd team all ACC guard Lorenzo Brown as well as solid forward Richard Howell. An all-conference point guard, and 2 good forwards is enough to put any team in contention. The real story is their top ranked recruiting class, headlined by five star recruit Rodney Purvis who is extremely athletic but might not be extremely eligible.
They have much more on that game, as well as the Jan. 10 game at the Unviersity of North Carolina, the Jan. 27 game vs. Florida State University, and the March 2 game at Duke. Check out The 7th Level for more info, or to offer your thoughts on Miami's schedule.
