On Monday night, the Miami Marlins (18-17) dropped the first game of a two-game weekday series to the Pittsburgh Pirates (17-18) by a final score of 3-2 at Marlins Park. Twenty-four hours later, they hope to salvage the shortened series with a split. Taking the mound for Miami will be Josh Johnson, who has, though, struggled this season. Through seven starts, he's gone 0-3 with a 5.87 ERA.
