Marlins Vs. Braves Final Score: Miami Wins 8-4

The Miami Marlins traveled to Atlanta to take on the Braves in a two-game series. The Braves jumped out to an early lead in the first inning, but Miami quickly poured on the runs after that. Austin Kearns double to left center in the fourth inning, playing two runs to give the Marlins a 2-1 lead. Kearns later scored in the inning on a Emilio Bonifacio single.

The Marlins weren't done with just a 3-1 lead however, as they added three more runs in the fifth inning and then two more runs on a Giancarlo Stanton home run in the seventh inning to give the Marlins an 8-4 lead, which was good enough to take the first game of the series.
