The Miami Marlins are coming off a win over the San Francisco Giants, and they'll stay on the Left Coast to face the San Diego Padres over the weekend. The first game is on Friday, first pitch is scheduled for 10:05 pm and you can find the game on Fox Sports Florida.

Josh Johnson is the in disputed ace of the Marlins staff, but he has yet to register his first win of the 2012 season. He isn't even a hard luck 0-3 either, his 5.34 ERA is a lot higher than we normally see from him. The Padres don't have the greatest lineup in the world and their ballpark definitely helps out the pitcher, so maybe this could be the beginning of a good stretch for Miami.

We'll have plenty more on this series throughout the weekend on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all of the latest news and updates.
