The Miami Marlins have been playing lights out on the road lately, winning six straight away from Marlins Park. They face a stiff opponent in Houston Astros starting pitcher Wandy Rodriguez, who is 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA against the Marlins at Minute Maid Park since he lost to the Marlins in 2005.
The Marlins counter with Carlos Zambrano, still looking for his first victory of the season. He currently is 0-2 with a 2.53 ERA. His last start against the San Francisco Giants on May 2 saw Zambrano throw seven scoreless innings before closer Heath Bell lost the lead in the ninth and the Marlins lost 3-2 in 10 innings. Thats the third time he's failed to hold a lead from Zambrano.
The Marlins took two of three games in a series against Houston at Marlins Park that was held April 13-15. The game is scheduled for an 8:05 first pitch with television coverage on Fox Sports Florida, with radio coverage provided by WAXY 790 AM and WAQI 710 AM.
