A stretch of interleague play has done nothing to help revive the struggling Miami Marlins. Boston worked around them in a 2-1 win on Tuesday night, evening the series which concludes on Wednesday night. The loss was Miami's eighth in 11 games this month.
Ricky Nolasco is on the mound for the Marlins on Wednesday, looking to improve on his last outing, a loss to Tampa Bay. The right-hander has a 4.36 ERA in 12 starts this season. He has allowed 10 earned runs in his last three trips to the hill.
Boston will start lefty Felix Doubront who lost his last outing when he gave up six earned runs to Washington. Prior to that, Doubront had not allowed more than two earned runs in five starts.
The game starts at 7:10 p.m. at Marlins Park. Fans can watch the game on Fox Sports Florida.
